Welcome to my blog-I hope you enjoy!

Dress # 2

The dress is made from ribbon. I took the edge of the ribbon and made roses with it (by twisting it around needle nose pliers.) The flowing skirt is also ribbon. I have found that ribbon is good to use because it is very fine which really helps with designing these little dresses.

"Let's Play Dress Up"

Some Of All My ATC's is having this wonderful swap- "Let's Play Dress Up". The size of the card is 4" by 6" and you are to add an out fit. It can be paper, material, any thing you wish as long as it fit's on the size 4" by 6". I used petals from flowers and glue them to make the skirt and the top is made from a piece of ribbon. I added a flower at the waist and some berries under the petals to add interest. Made a large bow at the waist and attached to the card stock. I love making this dress and have three more to do. So hope to have them done in a few more days.

WALDO FLEA MARKET

We went to Waldo's Flea Market and I found all these lovely things for $30.00.
9 vintage photos and adds and all this wonderful silverware. Flea markets are so much fun.
I also for $10.00 found four brand new sweat shirts. Oh, they have Gap and the like on them but I bet they are not brand names. But for my studio if I spill paint or glue it will not matter. We hope to go to the St. Johns Flea Market in a couple of weeks-can hardly wait-I just have to save some money before we go.

Chunky ATC Valentine Swap

Altered Steam Punk Watch Swap

Artchix Sister Site is having a steam punk watch swap and here is the one I did. I enjoyed doing this and sure hope the artist I get to swap with likes it also.

MY LOVE

Artchix Sister Site Lottery-Theme "Painted Love"-Sue Cervantez-host. I used a die cut heart and painted it a pale pink. Stamped on it using a few different stamps-Cut out a window using an artchix image added my romantic couple. Added paint around the edges to give a finish edge.

STEAM PUNK ALTERED WATCH

Well, this was a challenge for me. I have done altered watches before, but steam punk is new to me. Artchix Sister Site is having a steam punk watch swap, so I gave it a try.

I am almost finish with the one I will swap. I will post it when I have finished. I feel this one is a little messy. But I like the over all look.

More Pages for the Round Robin

My pages I did on Renee Stockfleth book for the round robin. Renee's theme was "Numbers" I decided to use 3 and from that I picked "The Three Little Kittens". Renee always comes up with the best books (size and shape) for Sallie Rodman's our host for the Round Robins.

Fairy and Mermaid Bottles

I made many of these little bottle for our Holiday House and I only have these 3 left. I am very excited about this. The bottles are 2 1/2" tall. I had fun adding the tiny fairies and tiny mermaids in the bottles. I also added some fairy dust and a few small items to decorate the inside of the bottles.
Back of bottles-I added a charm and small tag with the words "make a wish" on the fairies bottle and on the mermaids I added the words "dream a dream".

Artchix Studio "Steam Punk Swap"

All the images I used are from Artchix Studio. Helga has a wonderful selection of collage sheets, so it was easy to use Only Artchix Images. Even though you only had to use one of her images. I love vintage buttons- I have so many jars of them. But I used the buttons from one I received from Helga. The only thing not Artchix was the cardboard for the atcs and the other emblishments.
Four more Stream Punk ATC's. These are for an Artchix Studio Swap. Love trying something new.

My First Lottery Of The New Year

Artchix Sister Lottery-Mary Wilkins is the host and the theme is "Winter Fun". Always great to start the New Year with a fun theme.

Artchix Sister Site Lottery

The theme is "New Year Resolutions"-Cindy McMath is our Host. I am very good at making resolutions but terrible at keeping them. So I decided to pick one that I hope I have a chance of keeping. How are you at keeping your resolutions???

AUDREY

Audrey Hepburn is one of my favorite actresses. So, I made up this collage on her. I used an old box top-lined it with decorated paper. I added my images. With a few of the images I used glue dots to add depth. I used markers to add color-which I think added pop to the collage.

Lisa's Bottle

Lisa Robinson sent me this lovely green bottle and wanted a Christmas theme. I decided to use to use an angel coming out of the bottle. I hope she likes it.

Sallie Rodman host a wonderful Round Robin.
The tags I made for Sue's book. I sure hope she like the pages I made.

BOTT:E SWAP
