The colors this month are "red and sepia". The are 4" by 4". When we finish we will all have a very colorful book.

I made these angels out of wood. I used vintage lace and copied vintage music sheets to make their dresses. I outlined them in black and smudged the edges with a brown ink pad. I attached the dress to the body of the angel with mod podge. I painted the shoes on and the faces. I added wool for their hair. I used vintage linens for their aprons, added vintage buttons and and old key to their hands. And I used some wooden decorations for their wings that I painted. Last I added halos and a ribbon to hang them. I sealed with a sealer. Now these little angels need to find a good home.
The theme was "Labels". Here are the first two pages I did. I used Tim Holts pages for the back ground and made the ladies were the labels. I out lined them in back with a blue page the accent them.
These pages I made a pocket using a page from Tim's book. I made some labels into tages and placed in the pockets. The next page is a collage made with labels.
So much fun to play.
Just finished my "By The Sea" lottery entry. I love the ocean and these were fun to do. I took about 5 colors of paint (all water colors). I put the paint on heavy-and on different places and then put the other ATC on top of the first one. Push them together and then pulled them a part and let dry. I think is looks like the sea.
I used the back of a picture frame-add paper for the back ground and image is from Paper Whimsy. I out lined her in black to make her pop out. I had this lace heart and used it up side down for the framing the lady-added some green lace flowers and the black tassel. I used glitter to hi-light her dress and jewelry. I added the tiny pink hearts on the lace flowers. I sure hope Sue like it.
These wonderful photos and post cards were only $5.00.
Chest pieces are in fantastic condition. As your can see the bag they came in is pretty bang up-but love it even more for that reason. The chest pieces are going to be fun coming up with something to do with them. They were $15.00 so less then a $1.00 a piece.
Keys- the tin was pretty full and they were $10.00-a little costly but can be used for so many art projects.
Hinges came in a suit case which was $10.00 for both. So many different kind of hinges-so many to choose from.
As you can see the suit case is very dirty-but I am going to scrub it and remove the lining. Then I will paint it and add images. For the inside I think I will line with fabric-so many choices to make.
I found these little brass boxes a while a go. I decided to make shadow boxes out of them. The smallest is 2' by 2' and about 1" tall. The largest is about 4" by 4" and bout 1 1/2" tall.
I added my images and let dry. Added some Diamond Glaze to the objects and let dry. Then I added some extra fine glitter.
On the lids I added either a shell or bead for a handle with some fancy yarn.
What a fun project this has been.
More pages for Sallie Rodman's "Round Robin." This book is Gigi's and her theme is "Steam Punk" I made a window that opens. At the bottom I stenciled a man walking and added the words think and play.
Gigi also wanted a paper doll so here is mine- I added a watch face and a watches cover to make it a little steam punk. I loved paper dolls while growing up so it is always fun to make them. It always surprises me how long it takes me to make one.

Some Of All My ATC's is having this wonderful swap- "Let's Play Dress Up". The size of the card is 4" by 6" and you are to add an out fit. It can be paper, material, any thing you wish as long as it fit's on the size 4" by 6". I used petals from flowers and glue them to make the skirt and the top is made from a piece of ribbon. I added a flower at the waist and some berries under the petals to add interest. Made a large bow at the waist and attached to the card stock. I love making this dress and have three more to do. So hope to have them done in a few more days.
