Welcome to my blog-I hope you enjoy!
I love these little ballerinas and was lucky to find them on "Gathering Dust" on etsy. I had these vintage salt shakers and so I used them to hold the pixie dust. I think they will look sweet on a shelf, after all who wouldn't want a little magic in their life.

ROBIN"S GIVE AWAY

My daughter is having a give away on her blog bohemianmoonshine.blogspot.com. It will be one of her pieces of art. I hope you will stop by and become a follower.

BUTTONS

I had these test tubes for a while and decided to make them into button holders. I filled them with vintage buttons and cut up a paper doilie to decorate the tube. Added some vintage ribbon and a paper cut out and a small flower. I don't know if I will use them for gifts or in the Holiday House this year. Decisions, Decisions don't know what to do.

Paper Whimsy Post Card Swap

Paper Whimsy Post Card Swap-Theme Friends and what they mean to you. I used a vintage post card for the back ground for the image of the little girl from Paper Whimsy. The post card was a gift from my dear friend Sue Cervantez. I copied the post card so I could keep the original
one.

DOLL FAIRY

My doll for Linda Grungey's Artist Doll Swap. All her clothes are from vintage material. Her dress is from a child's vintage slip and the lace apron is from a vintage lace collar. The flowers are also vintage. To her wings I added two vintage crystals. Her boots are made from wool felt and her hair is also wool. I had fun making her and I hope who ever gets her will love her also.

Little Bird Book?

I got this wonderful little kit from "Navel Jelly Studios" It was fun and easy to do. So now I have a little book that is really a drawer to hide some tiny treasures in.

"IF THE CROWN FITS-WEAR IT"

ATC for lottery on Artchix Sister Site. Theme by Lisa Jackson "Queen For A Day"

GREEN & PURPLE

Artchix Sister Site "Fat Book Pages" Swap. The colors this month are green and purple. These are the fronts.
These are the backs.

TRAVEL LOTTERY

The group "ATCs For Fun" lottery theme is "Travel". So for fun I made these two ATCs. I would love to go to fashion week-what a ball that would be. And as a child we always took road trips for vacation-I remember them as fun and great family time. I hope my children remember our road trips with fond memories also.

"Fairy Wand"

I made this fairy wand for fun. I needle felted the star and the butterfly on each side. I added sparkle and some other embellishments.
The Some Of All My ATCs is having a wand swap, so just had to practice. Now for the one to swap.

"MAD HATTER"

The Sums Of All My ATCs is having a swap-"Mad Hatter". Lori Otto is our host. The template is about 6" by 4".
I made the template out of card stock and used some self sticking felt I got at the Dollar Tree for the hat. And embellished them.
I like this swap what a joy it was to create these hats. I can hardly wait to see who's hats I will receive. Thanks for hosting Lori.

Round Robin

Next pages for Sallie's round robin. The theme was "Color". You are to use one color-no theme or sayings. The book had so many beautiful colors already finish when it became my turn-blues, greens, white , purple and many more.
So, I decided to pick totally different ones. Orange for my first set of pages and brown for my other set of pages. This was so much fun using just one color. So here they are.

Corner Shelf Find

I found this corner shelf at our local Good Will. This is what I did with it.
I sanded and base coated it. Painted it off white and stamped a lot of images on. Then sanded again to remove part of the stamped images. Then I went over the whole piece with a tan color and wiped it off as I went a long to give an aged look. And then I sanded it once more. Put a sealer on. I like how it turned out. The top shelf is a little off but I think it adds to the charm.

"EGGS"

Artchix Sister Site Lottery- Theme is "Eggs"- Marion the host.

Pay It Forward

This is a fun game.

Joy is who I left a comment and I got a lovely hand create gift from her. (the wonderful card above) If you are one of the first five to leave a comment on this post, I will make something for you for doing so.

Here is the catch then you must pay it forward in this year. And you will make something for the persons who leave a comment on your post.

So have fun and pay it forward.

BUNNIES IN A BAG

The Sum Of All MY ATCs is having a swap "Dressing A Bunny". Valeria gave us the template to use for the bunny. I used water colors for the bunnies and attached their legs and arms. I made the dresses then colored with markers. Attached bows and flowers. I loves making the shoes which I then used markers to color. I attached some charms and I had these little bags so I stamped them. I put the bunnies in and then added some pink scraps to fill the bags up.
I love doing this one. Thanks Valeria for another great swap.

ARTCHIX SISTER SITE SWAP-"Fat Books"

The colors this month are "red and sepia". The are 4" by 4". When we finish we will all have a very colorful book.

"ONCE UPON A SPRINGTIME"

Here are my entries for "Once Upon A Springtime"-Maggie Lind is out host. The swap is with "The Sum Of All My ATCs. I used some images that Valeria Brincheck had giving us on her blog. She is so wonderful to us and always gives us wonderful images. Thanks Valeria.

LOVE-LY NIGHT

Artchix Sister Site Lottery-theme "Butterflies"-host Cindy McMath. This is my entry. I love this image of the little girl-she is just so sweet!

ANGELS

I made these angels out of wood. I used vintage lace and copied vintage music sheets to make their dresses. I outlined them in black and smudged the edges with a brown ink pad. I attached the dress to the body of the angel with mod podge. I painted the shoes on and the faces. I added wool for their hair. I used vintage linens for their aprons, added vintage buttons and and old key to their hands. And I used some wooden decorations for their wings that I painted. Last I added halos and a ribbon to hang them. I sealed with a sealer. Now these little angels need to find a good home.

Easter Swap

Easter Swap with Artchix Sister Site. The theme of course is Easter and Lisa Robinson is our host. I enjoyed doing these went right along with our wonderful spring weather.

ALLIGATOR

Our first little alligator of the year at the Ravine Gardens Park. He or she is about 2 feet in length.
You have to look really hard for one because they blend in so well. They always look like a log floating in the pond until you see their eyes.

"RENAISSANCE FAIR"

Swap with "The Sum Of All My ATCS". Maggie Lind is the host and the theme is "Renaissance Fair". I love the images from "Paper Whimsy" and used them here. I out lined them in black marker and then added same red paper to out line more. Love these ladies.

"LIFE IS A CIRCUS"

Artchix Sister Site Lottery-Sallie Rodman is the host and the theme is the "CIRCUS". I made a paper doll and draw a black line for the tight rope. This is a great theme with so many different choices to choose from. It was hard to pick one.

ROUND ROBIN

The theme was "Labels". Here are the first two pages I did. I used Tim Holts pages for the back ground and made the ladies were the labels. I out lined them in back with a blue page the accent them.
These pages I made a pocket using a page from Tim's book. I made some labels into tages and placed in the pockets. The next page is a collage made with labels.
So much fun to play.

Found Treasures

Found these lovely ladies-they are great a little dirty but just right for what I want to do with them.

"BY THE SEA"

Just finished my "By The Sea" lottery entry. I love the ocean and these were fun to do. I took about 5 colors of paint (all water colors). I put the paint on heavy-and on different places and then put the other ATC on top of the first one. Push them together and then pulled them a part and let dry. I think is looks like the sea.

MORE TREASURES

We went back to Waldo Flea Market Saturday and I found these wonderful books,
all these little treasures (fun to art with), and
these vintage music sheets. Oh, what fun it was to go hunting. I hope I get to go at least once more before the season ends.

Bobbie Pins

I had these bobbie pins blanks, and cut out some images to place in them. I added a little Diamond Glaze to attach the images-let dry. After they were dry I added more Diamond Glazed to fill the blanks. So now I have some cute pins for hair. Quick and easy.
