Welcome to my blog-I hope you enjoy!

"MOTLEY CREW OF MEN"

My daughter and I took another ATC class at "A Small Cleverness". Our teacher was Karen Shafer. Our theme was "Motley Crew Of Men". I love them and we used alohol ink to color the backgrounds and pattern stamps to give a look of wall paper for the rooms. The men were stamps that we colored in. I think each man has his own story to tell. So go a head and make up a story for each one of them. I bet it will be fantastic.

A BEADED ORNAMENT

I made this little beaded ornament to thank an "Angel of a lady". She is only 2" high. Her body is a wooden bead and her head is a glass bead. She will fit just right in a small padded envelope. So, she is off to her new home.

MORE FLOCKS IN A BOX

I had fun making the flock in the box so I made a couple more, using images from Paper Whimsy.

"FLOCK IN A BOX"

Paper Whimsy swap "Flock In A Box". We had to use paper so I copied the images from Paper Whimsy on hand made paper. I made a little dress form from wire and paper to hang the dress on. Everything is ready to go. She has her wings and crown to complete her fairy princess out fit. I sure hope Julie likes it.

A DOLL FROM KRISTEN BOLTON

So, excited-I received this beautiful doll from Kristen Bolton. She is around 3" and beaded front and back-plus she made this little pouch for her to rest in. I love her. Kristen is an angel-thank you so much.

SERENDIPITY SWAP

This is a swap for "The
Sum Of All My ATCs"

Thanks for hosting Mags.

This was so much fun-I made a collage sheet using left over pieces of paper that I had used in
other projects. I Mod Podge them and stamp all over. Then cut them into ATCs.

I think I am hook on this-so much fun.

GAYLYNN MASTER OF LOVE AND DREAM POTIONS

Gaylynn is a master wizard and she true believer in her love and dream potions.

MISS HAZEL

Miss Hazel is a doll I created for the doll group I belong too-The challenge was to create a animal doll.
Miss. Hazel is a apprentice wizard and she is attaining her information and learning from Gaylynn. Gaylynn has been a wizard for a while and I will be adding her tomorrow. She just has to finish her last lesson with Hazel.

Hazel was a lot of fun to create. Her feet are wire wrap in floral tape and then painted and sealed. Her body is a bird cage with a cat hanging around for good luck. She has a Love potion book and a bottle of potion for dreams. And she has her wand, I mean what is a wizard with out a wand.
To finish her I added some vintage jewels so she could sparkle. I think she will make a fantastic wizard.

On Our Way

On our way to Nina's class Saturday Robin spotted this peacock just walking down the side of the highway and there were no houses near by. We turned a round to get a picture but he already was heading back in the woods. But at least the wonderful colors show up. We never know what we will see on our way some where.

Fat Pages

The colors this month were indigo. So I thought what better then denim my favorite thing to wear. So glad to have finished now they are on their way to our host Marnie. Can't wait to see the other artist fat pages.

A SMALL CLEVERNESS-NINA TARUZZER

This is what I made from Nina Tarnuzzer's Mermaid class. It was at the cutest little shop in Orange Park, Florida called "A Small Cleverness".

I found about Nina's class from one of my groups-"The Sum Of ALL My ATC's" Robin (my Daughter) and I had a lot fun and learned some new techniques using rubber stamps and how fiber can be used. Plus look at the great ATCs we created.

Thanks Nina we had so much fun.
Also, Thanks to Donna for having such a cute shop. (A place-I will be returning to often.)

ONE COLOR

A swap using just one color-you can use different shades of the color but one color. As you can see I choice is green.

MUSIC BIRDS

I used these cheap flock birds that I purchase from the Dollar Tree and used vintage music sheets to cover them. I used Mod Podge to attach the strips of music sheet. Then cover them in silver glue glitter. I added rhinestones for eyes. Finish them off with a bow and some more rhinestones. I thought this would be a quick and easy project. But it seen to take me a long time, but I do like now they look when finished..

VINTAGE MIRROR FRAMES

I so love these. I had these mirrors for years, and one of the mirrors broke. So, the idea was born to make frames out of them. I used some vintage images and used Diamond Glaze to seal them. Added the vintage lace and a rose. I attached a hanger on the back and they are ready to hang. Now I know what I can do with the other vintage mirrors I have.

YELLOW &CREAM FAT PAGES

This months fat pages (Artchix Sister Site) are yellow and cream. I wove cream ribbon and yellow paper for the background. Added Artchix images. I used a feather stamp on the main background.

WOVEN WONDERS

These are atcs. Maggie Lind is hosting this swap (The Sum Of All My ATC group) We could weave any kind of material from paper, ribbon, yarn, anything. I choose to use paper and ribbon. And then I wove a piece of thread also through it. Boy, this was fun. It brought back times as a child-remember those pot holder kit-with the medal frame. Well I had one and love to make the pot holders. Which of course they were a little small to really use-but it was fun.
Try it is see how much fun it is.

"Merry Month Of May"

This is what I collage for the "Merry Month Of May". We were to use a 8" by 10" canvas. We had to use a blossom, bee. bird and some clip board. It is on it's way to England. I hope she likes it. (I can't say who it is going to.)

ROUND ROBIN

Sandy's theme is the movies. I choose "Samson And Dalila". It was a hard choice because I love movie, especially old movies. I sure hope Sandy likes them. One more book to go in this RR.
I can hardly wait to see mine and what everyone has created.

CREATIVE LENNA'S LITTLE BOOK SWAP

What a fun swap this was. Lenna Andrews always comes up with the most interesting swaps. This one is for little books ( no bigger then 4"). These are the ones I made-the one in the middle is a round 3" and the smallest is just over 1". (Theu had to have at least 4 pages and up to 24 pages.) You could decorate the inside or choose not to.
I decided to choose a theme and decorate according. I had so much fun and can't wait to see what I will receive from other artist.
I love these little ballerinas and was lucky to find them on "Gathering Dust" on etsy. I had these vintage salt shakers and so I used them to hold the pixie dust. I think they will look sweet on a shelf, after all who wouldn't want a little magic in their life.

ROBIN"S GIVE AWAY

My daughter is having a give away on her blog bohemianmoonshine.blogspot.com. It will be one of her pieces of art. I hope you will stop by and become a follower.

BUTTONS

I had these test tubes for a while and decided to make them into button holders. I filled them with vintage buttons and cut up a paper doilie to decorate the tube. Added some vintage ribbon and a paper cut out and a small flower. I don't know if I will use them for gifts or in the Holiday House this year. Decisions, Decisions don't know what to do.

Paper Whimsy Post Card Swap

Paper Whimsy Post Card Swap-Theme Friends and what they mean to you. I used a vintage post card for the back ground for the image of the little girl from Paper Whimsy. The post card was a gift from my dear friend Sue Cervantez. I copied the post card so I could keep the original
one.

DOLL FAIRY

My doll for Linda Grungey's Artist Doll Swap. All her clothes are from vintage material. Her dress is from a child's vintage slip and the lace apron is from a vintage lace collar. The flowers are also vintage. To her wings I added two vintage crystals. Her boots are made from wool felt and her hair is also wool. I had fun making her and I hope who ever gets her will love her also.

Little Bird Book?

I got this wonderful little kit from "Navel Jelly Studios" It was fun and easy to do. So now I have a little book that is really a drawer to hide some tiny treasures in.
