Welcome to my blog-I hope you enjoy!

Another Doll

I love making her.  I used medal paint which I then distressed.

A Little Mermaid

I painted this box - then stamped it - distressed and sealed

Doll

I always wanted one of these dolls but never found one.  So when Paper Whimsy and Retro Cafe came up with cut outs to make one-I jump at the chance.

A Little Steam Punk

These cut out also come in many shapes here is a cabinet-with steam punk.  painted stamped, added some paper from Graphic 45 and added some chain.

Another Cut Out

Here is another cut out I altered. The face is a copy of an old china doll.  And filled the box with goodies.

Etch Medal Bracelets

Here are the bracelets I made using the etched medal from Joni Russell class.
Bend them over a mandrel. Added hole and chain.  On the one in front I cut a v on the sides.  Sealed with a medal sealer

A Couple More Dolls

I have falling in love with these cut out dolls.  These had a frame cut out in their chest-so glue a picture I like and Diamond Glazed over them.  Added a bird cage to the first one and a sterling silver heart to the other one

Easter

Debbie Hodge had these wonderful eggs to dress up- I did them last year, with paint, German glass glitter and lots of embellishments.
This year Debbie had this wonderful crown package to create with.  Love love love-the crown came already with a heavy amount of German glass glitter-so just had to embellish-lots of 6000 glue used.

Angel Watching

Here is another doll cut outs I have payed with
I think I like her a lot. With paper and paint you can really have fun making these

Angels

love playing with these cut out shapes-so much fun to come up with ways to arts them up.
Paper Whimsy and a retro Cafe have a wonderful selection of these wonderful dolls.

Debbie Hodge- wonderful kit

This was a kit from Debbie Hodge.  I finished it a while back and hung it in my living room-love it

Etching At Small Cleverness

Another class with Joni Russell.  Etching on medal.  We used copper tubing and made this vessel.  And also etched on metal sheets.  We used copper, brass and silver.  I going to make bracelets and a few other things with the sheets.
A Small Cleverness is a wonderful store in Orang Park, FL.  Donna has the most wonderful things and she has so many classes to choose from.  Love this store-wish I lived closer.

Gelli with Joni

We used a gelli plate, stencils, paint Croco paste, transfer, and found objects in this class.  Fun to do.

More with Joni Russell

In this class we learned how to solder pendants on to brass.  then we added crystals.

May's Pendant

Here is my May Pendant for Art For The Creative mind.  Theme was a Christmas Carol.  I choose Hark The Herald Angel Sing.
The angel and bells came from a find I found with vintage cake decorations,  I painted the angel and added some gold to her.  The bells already had this cool finish.  I used some vintage material and vintage doily and added the brsss butterfly to finish it off.
I sure hope my swap partner like it.

Tin Photo Album Book

This is another class I took with Joni Russell.  The cover is copper that we used patina to age-wused solder on the cover.  We Made the tin photos
We learned to bind the book.
I love this project and the book is a treasure.

Enamel - Joni Russell

I took a class with Joni Russell.  I was so much fun learning how to enamel.  Joni is a great teacher. Joni showed us how to enamel medal beads, making enameled head pins, a pendant, and the wonderful bracelets.  We used a torch and a kiln.

A Little Late

I made this last year and just found the picture-so a little late posting but here it is
