Vintage Lace Belts

I love these so much.  I used vintage lace from pillow cases and vintage belt buckets.  I put them is the Holiday House and they are already sold-love it.

VINTAGE TREES IN SALT SHAKERS

 Found these wonderful salt shakers at a thrift store.  Added vintage trees and some glitter.  Embellished the tops-love those old bottle trees.


Vintage White Tags

 Art For The Creative Mind had a vintage white tag swap.  I enjoyed making them.

Winter Glitter

Art For The Creative Mind had a swap with 3 spools and the theme Winter Glitter.  Here are mine.  The first one is a pin cushion,the second and third are note holders.  I hope my swap person like them.

Don't Throw The Old Rake Out

 My husband was going to throw the rake away.  I caught him just in time.  I saw this idea and love it, so here is my wine glass holder or necklace holder-ready for the Holiday House.

Soldier Necklsces

A couple of soldier necklace I finished.  On their way to the Holiday House.  The House opens on Nov 16.  I can hardly wait to see what every one has created for it.

Up On Your Toes

I love these old cake toppers.  Fun to create with.  Embellished a couple of jars with them.

The bracelet was a gift from Debbie Hodge.  I wove pink velvet and added some medal roses.  Thanks Debbie.


A Small Chest

  found this chest at our Good Will.  I repainted it and added vintage earrings for the handles.  The chest is about 12" tall.  I have two more small chest to re-do.  I need to get busy.

Some New Treasures

 I finished these two pieces today.  Both the necklace and bracelet will go in my art showing next week.  The Palatka Art League is honoring me for the month of October.  I will have my creations on display. I am very excited about be chosen for this month.

Fun Tins

 I made ones like these last year and they all sold at the Holiday House, so decided to make a few more.  I have finish three, still have few more to create with different themes.  A tin full of magnets.  I great little gift for that special friend or to thank someone for being special.

Cross Bracelets

I was going though my old jewelry junk box and came across these crosses so decided to make some bracelets, and  here they are.  The only hard part was making a curve in the cross so they would lay across the wrist.  I was worried they might break.  So lucky they didn't.

Altered Coffin

 Our group Art For The Creative Mind has a altered coffin swap.  This is my altered coffin.
 He is a very dashing fellow and has his small friend with him.  I enjoyed doing this swap and I Can't wait to see what I received.  I just know it is going to be fantastic.



Dream Banner

This was fun-Debbie sent me the beveled glass and the linen Letters. I joined the glass with the letters dream. I painted the brass and place in the oven for  about 20 minutes.  I used the brass to embellish the frames.  Added some rhinestones Debbie also sent.  Aged the chain and put them together.  I love this banner-dream is one of my favorite words.

With A Little Brass & Crystals

I had this brass ring that Debbie had sent me and I painted and made a few holes and added a chain for hanging and some vintage crystals.

Cone With German Glass Gliitter

I received this large cone (about 16"tall) from Debbie Hodge.  Part of one of her kits.  It is made with German glass glitter and with brass findings.  The top edge is soldier and brass findings to hold the ribbon for hanging.  I have to decide what I will fill it with.  Love the packages that come from Debbie.

Bottle Angels

 Here are some angels I created with a porcelain doll head and paper clay for their bodies.  I added some treasures in the bottles and then place their heads and made their bodies.  I try to make angels every year for our Holiday house.


Doll Chest

 I found this doll chest in a junk store.  I refinish it.  I wish I had a Little Grand Daughter, mine is 17 now.  But I had fun redoing it.  I added some hangers and the hat boxes.  I will be putting it in our Holiday House so I hope some special little girl gets it for Christmas.



Christmas

I was in Wal Mart a while back and they had these lid inserts on sale for a package of 12 for a dollar.  I love that they already had the red checked on the lids.  So quick and easy added images and a little decoration and how I have some cute Christmas decorations to sale at the Christmas House this year.  I should  have bought a few more packages.   Oh well.

KEY BOX

 I found this wonderful box at Good Will.  I used printed napkins to collage on it.  I like How it turned out-what do you think?

Thimble Tassels

I love thimbles and have collected them for a while.  I saw this done a while back and wanted to try it.  I love how playful they turned out.

Altered Mouse Traps

 I made a few altered mouse trap.  I think they will make interest not holders.  I added magnets to the backs.

Charmed

This is my take on a game piece charm bracelet.  Fun Fun Fun to do.

A Couple Of Fairies

I love making most things in to fairies.  These are little vintage salt shakers.  I made these last year for our Holiday House.  And when I found these small shakers  I decided to do a couple more.

Childs Play

My Baby Angel

 I have some old porcelain doll parts and decided to make a baby angel.
 I painted the porcelain and use paper clay to attach her to the bottle.  (Part a few treasure in the bottle first) I also aged the porcelain to look old.
Dressed her in vintage linens add her wings and a large bow to her gown.  I like how she turned out.  What do you think?
