Winter Fairy Queen

Made this for s swap with Art For The Creative Mind Art Group.  Use heavy card stock for the base. added lots of lace and added the image with butterfly wings.  I sure hope my swap partner likes her.

I made this crown for Palatka Art leagues - angel for angels event-  we have a charity group we work to make money for each year- we pick a different one each year.  This year it is for a local food bank.  So the art members are making angels to earn the money. On the 3rd Friday-of February between 4:00 to 8:00- we will have a Chinese auction, food and wine.

I enjoyed making this crown-I wish the crystal showed up more.
Can't way to see what everyone esle is making.

A Swap Held By Lena Andrews

With A Little Clay

 adding some Christmas

an old piece of wood

A friend of mine's husband (Sonny) gave me this very old piece of wood.  I used a vintage spoon for the stem and a old piece of embossed metal for the flower and the leaves.  The metal was already this color.
I covered the candle with air dry clay and matched the paint on the metal.  Thanks Sonny.

I friend Betty Rae give me these graders a while back.
I decided to make these.  I painted the silverware with nail polish.  Fun to make.

Little Pots

I took this class of Robin Dudley-Howes. She used little peat pots-I used the little pails from Dollar Tree.  I used images from Paper Whimsy.
A fun project-thanks for sharing Robin
