Welcome to my blog-I hope you enjoy!

Crown Me

One of the crowns I made after taking Tobi's class last year with Artful Gathering.
I love using chicken wire for the base and then just keep on embellishing.

Bracelets

These are the bracelets I made for Art For The Creative Mind Swap.

We used zip ties for the base and I wrap mine with sara silk and then wire and beads.  Before i joined the zip ties I added hand made jump rings and some glass charms.

A Little Steam Punk

Love making these hats.  Started with paper macho and painted and stress them.
Used swimming goggles painted and stress them.
 Then the fun begins-embellishing them.

Angel

I made this angel for our Holiday House.  The base is a metal pocket, I repainted.  I used a porcelain doll head, I painted.  I used paper clay when adding the head. Added wood angel wings and some crystals.  She did not sell so I think I am going to hang her in my new studio.

Bangles And Beads

This was my other entry last year.

Silver Butterfly

I used a silver fork for the base.  The Butterfly was cut from a silver tray.
This is what I designed for our member show last year. (Palatka Art League)

Baby's First Christmas

These are some ornaments I made for baby's first Christmas.
I used the white swans in the wedding section of the Dollar Tree. I painted them pink and blue.
The doll shoes I also painted.
I added bows to the doll and used lace wrapped around the dolls.
Then I placed them in the swan or shoe and added a piece of ribbon for hanging.
These were a lot of fun to make.

By The Sea

I painted this little 4" by 4" shadow box
added a vintage image and a few embellishments-sealed the image and embellishmentx with wax

SteamPunk Chest

I found this little chest at Good-Will.
 I painted it.
 stamped on it
 added a few embellishment
 added wheels
then sealed it

Copper Pipe

We made these out of copper pipe in a class I took with Joni Russell.
We cleaned the pipe and etch a pattern on the piece of pipe.  We used an ended cap for the top and cut a piece of copper sheeting in a circle for the bottom, which we solier in place/
we added jump rings to the side so we could make a necklace.  Join's classes are always fun-you learn so much.

Magpies

I love these birds.  We saw them in Alaska this past summer.  They are about the size of a large crow.
They are very friendly and very noisy, an nosy.
I think they are pretty and very fun to watch

Silver Birds

I cut these birds from a silver tray.
to make them thicker  added a piece of wood I cut out to match the bird shape.
I made wings out of the tray and attached with glue and a brad.
On this wide I cut a circle out and put a small round tin with a glass top.  ( I added eggs and some paper cut grass for the inside.
