Artchix Sister Site Christmas Ornament Swap

Here are the gift bags I used for the Christmas Ornament swap.

Here are the ornaments I made for my swap. I used vintage crystals and added images from Artchix Studios. I used Diamond Glaze to seal them.
Then added a charm and ribbon. I made the wooden tags to attach to the the gift bags. I sure hope they like them.

ATCs For A Friend

These I made for a friend. We pick a year from the 60's until this year. As you can see I picked 65, 66, & 67. Boy, there was a lot of good things that happen in the 60's.

Artchix Sister Site Bottle Swap

Artchix Sister Site Christams House Swap

These are the houses I made for the swap. Sandy Alsfasser is our host.

The houses are made out of wood. Artchix Studio has them. They are about 2" to 3 1/2" tall. Perfect size to place around for Christmas.

Back of my houses

DANCING FAIRIES

Here are three fairies I made. Their dresses are from vintage jello molds, which I painted. I made a hold in the middle for their tops to join. I had the heads and made their bodices out of paper clay. I shaped the arms and added the hands. I shape the clay for the legs and added a looped wire at the top to join to the bodice going in the hole on the jello mold.

The wings are made from different items. The first one has wings made from lace and I added some lavender stones. The second pair of wings are from ribbon and the last one wings are made with pink feathers.

I enjoyed making them. I hope you will give it a try.

LENNA ANDREWS MAIL ART SWAP

Lenna has come up with another amazing swap. "Mail art". We were to either use an already made envelope or make our own. I decided to make my own. I used some thick brown paper that had a design writing on it. I added some stamp images. I cut out silhouettes of "Alice in Wonderland". After cutting and gluing them to the envelope I made address labels. I used shimmer Mod Podge (gold) all other the envelopes. Let dry and added my note and sealed.

And I want to thank Lenna for letting me use her photos of my mail art. I was an a hurry to mail them and forgot to scan them. So Lenna was kind enough to let me use her photos.
The fronts.
Here are the backs. And I added a little note that I collage on also. These were so much fun to make. Thanks Lenna for another wonderful swap. I can't wait to see what I receive.

ARTCHIX SISTER-SITE

"12 Days Of Christmas" is the theme of the lottery and Sallie Rodman is our host. I picked "Nine Dancing Ladies" for my ATC.

POWDER ROOM

I collage this powder room sign for fun and found I really like it,

so I am going to hang it in my bath room.

Sallie's Round Robin Book Club

These are some pages I did for a Round Robin host by Sallie Rodman. The theme is "Home Sweet Home". Love doing them.
The other pages I did for Julia O. in our Round Robin.

Another item for our Holiday House sale. I love vintage items. And I found this is a fun way to display them. I made several last year and they all sold, so hoping that happens this year also.

FAIRY LAZY DAY IN SUNSHINE

I used a 4" by 4" shadow box. I just added things that I like. It would be wonderful to just have a day to dream away.

"THANKFUL FOR" lottery

Theme "Thankful For"

Here is my atc. I picked
hope for my thankful for.

LOVE NOTES

I found this hand make napkin holder at Goodwill
and thought I will make a love note holder out of it. I mean you can put your bills in it but love notes sound so much nicer, don't you think?

PAPER MACHE HOUSE

I found these paper mache houses at Micheals on sale last year. I decided to make them into bird houses. I had some hand made paper that I used to cover the house with Mod Podge. I used wire and wooden beads for a hanger. I draw a circle and painted black-added a branch painted brown. I used alcohol ink to a wooden bird- added the word dream. Put a hole to hang the bird from the handle. Found a cute saying placed on a piece of wood-added it on the roof. Sealed with a good sealer. I am putting them in the Holiday House. I sure hope they sale.

A WHAT NOT CATCH ALL

I found a set of wooden salad bowls and wondered what I could do with them. I decided to make a what not bowl. Something to catch anything and every thing. First I cleaned them really well. I used tissue paper to cover the bowls that had a cool design. I added words on the inside of the bowls. This one I used the word change. Some I added the word keys, junk even what not's. I sealed with a good sealer. I hope they sell at our Holiday House. I like how they look.

CHUNKY ATC SWAP-The Sum Of All My Atcs

Here is my chunky atc from Danise Bower-the colors are rich and beautiful. The Sum of all my atcs hosted this swap and I was lucky to have received this one from Danise.
Front or back view-I plan on enjoying one side for a while and then change it to the other side. Both sides are beautiful.
Here is the top of Danise's chunky atc. I love angels and I think Danise must too.

THE SUM OF ALL MY ATCs-chunky ATC's swap

This was a fun swap. We used a 2 by 4 cut to atc size. Then we designed the five sides. This is the one Claudine Criner created for me. So pretty. I think Claudine must be a romantic at heart.
I love the art she made.
The top view. Just as pretty as the sides.
Here is the back and the other side view. Claudine made this so romantic and beautiful.

THE SUM OF ALL YOUR ATCs swap

Denise Barger created this lovely tin. And take a look at the inside-it is so wonderful. Denise has a fantastic talent.

Love what Denise did-the goddess doll pin is beautiful hand beading. Love it.

SPOONS

These are some spoons I made into ornaments. I cut part of the handle off (I will use the top part of the handle for another project.) and bend back the remaining part of the handle to form a circle so I could hang them. Added an image and covered with diamond glaze. I also added a little glitter around the edge to add some sparkle. Added some velvet ribbon and a hook for hanging.

ARTCHIX STUDIO-HOLIDAY GIFT SWAP

I made these glass pendants for the swap. I had these glass pendants with a flat back. I picked a background and added lovely vintage ladies from Artchix Studio collage papers. Then added a bail. I hope my swap partners like them.
