Welcome to my blog-I hope you enjoy!

PENNANTS

"The Sum Of All My Crafts" is having a pennant swap. You have to make 3 and they can be made with paper, clothe anything you want to use. I used muslin and traced some vintage images on to the muslin, colored with oil pencils and then embroider the images. I added glass beads and some flowers to some and then added the ribbon hanger with a bow. Last I added some vintage buttons.

"SHADES OF WHITE"

More "Fat Pages" for "Artchix Sister-Site. This month the colors ere shades of white.

BLUE ANGEL

I created this blue angel today. When I was at Good Will the other day I found this blue vase. It was one that is round on the bottom in seats into a metal frame. I have made many angels by using this cone vases. This one is a little smaller only about 5". I made her blouse out vintage handkerchief. Made a halo, added wings and added a little bing. I always love to make angels.

BEJEWELED

Artchix Sister Siter atc swap-host Pamela McKenzie. The theme "Bejeweled". This was just fun using a lot of bing. Thanks Pam for a fantastic fun theme.

HAUNTED HOUSES

Artchix Sister Site is having a haunted house swap. These are a few of the houses I created.
I want to make an accordion style for the haunted houses I receive and place it on my fire place. Here they are with the doors open.
Theses are the backs
A different style for these-we were to make few in one style and a few more in a different style. We hope to have 13 in all-so it will be a wonderful accordion. My fire place is going to look fantastic.
doors open
and back of set two. I can't wait to see what I will received and when I have put them all together I will show you what a great decoration this is going to be. Thanks Sanna for hosting and having this great creative idea.

MESSAGE PENCILS

I was at Home Depot the other day standing at the check out and saw these carpenter pencils. They are flat so they will not roll when put down. I thought they would be easy and fun to collage and add a message for a friend or loved one. So I bought a dozen-plus they are only 19 cents so very cost affective also. I made up a dozen and then went back for a dozen more.
I stamp on some and printed some saying to add to the pencils. So, how I have a bunch for the our Holiday House to sale and a few to give for gifts. They are just perfect for tying on a package or to fit in a someones stocking.

ATCs FOR FUN-"FALLING FOR FALL SWAP"

I love fall colors-I used a stamp and colored in with markers. I cut them out and color another dress and jacket-Glued just the top of the dress and jacket-so there looks like some movement.

HAND MADE RIBBON

I love this idea of making ribbon. I washed a piece of muslin, iron and then tore strips about 1 1/2 " wide. I pick out different stamps and inks to use. Just started stamping. I re-ironed then to set the ink. Took some tags I had and stamped on them and then wrapped the ribbon around the tags. It was fun to pick different themes on the ribbon and I think a basket full of hand made ribbon will look fantastic.

MY SASSY ENVELOPE FROM HEATHER CORN

Here is my beautiful envelope I received from Heather Corn. And the goodies OH MY, they are just to fantastic for words. So many treasures-love every thing.
LOOK AT ALL THE TREASURES!!!!!!!

RUST-ARTCHIX SISTER SITE

Rust is the color for our fat pages this month. I had these little rusty houses so they were perfect for this swap. I also had some screen that was rusty and used that to make the bow with a brad for the center.

SASSY SISTER SWAP-PAPER WHIMSY

Paper Whimsy had this wonderful swap-decorate 8" by 10" envelope using Paper Whimsy prints. Then we were to fill it with our goodies. This is the front and the pocket I made to hold my items.
Back of envelope and pocket
The goodies I gather together to fill the envelope. What a fun project. I sure hope my swap partner like what I sent.

Puzzle Pieces

A few puzzle pieces I did for the fall show. I cut paper and used Mod Podge and added a picture with a little glitter. Drilled a hole and added a ribbon. I hope people buy them for a little something for a friend.

TINS WITH MAGNETS

Here are a few of my magnet tins I am making for sale for our Holiday House here in Palatka. Our Art League holds a sale from Nov - Dec 25 every year. We all work hard but have a lot of fun also.

"Sisterhood Of The Traveling Scrapes"

This was a "Sum Of All My ATCs Swap". And look what Iris Blesssinger made me and then filled it with the most delightful things. What treasures I received. The swap was to make a pouch and fill it with all kinds of goodies. Well, I sure got some wonderful stuff-love surprises and Iris sure knows how to fill a goodie pouch. Thanks Iris.

"SISTERHOOD OF TRAVELING SCRAPES"

This was so much fun. "The Sum Of all My Crafts" swap. We were to make a pouch and fill it with lost of our scrapes and goodies we have. I used the collage sheet I made for another swap and printed it on material then iron it to muslin and sewed the side seams. I made a hem around the top. I made a lining with some hand made paper which I sew the side seams and added inside the pouch.

Now the fun began-I filled it all kind of goodies-vintage buttons, vintage photos, tags, pretty paper and so much more. Don't want to say to much more in case my swap partner happens to look on my blog.

I can't wait to see I will receive!!!!!

"MOTLEY CREW OF MEN"

My daughter and I took another ATC class at "A Small Cleverness". Our teacher was Karen Shafer. Our theme was "Motley Crew Of Men". I love them and we used alohol ink to color the backgrounds and pattern stamps to give a look of wall paper for the rooms. The men were stamps that we colored in. I think each man has his own story to tell. So go a head and make up a story for each one of them. I bet it will be fantastic.

A BEADED ORNAMENT

I made this little beaded ornament to thank an "Angel of a lady". She is only 2" high. Her body is a wooden bead and her head is a glass bead. She will fit just right in a small padded envelope. So, she is off to her new home.

MORE FLOCKS IN A BOX

I had fun making the flock in the box so I made a couple more, using images from Paper Whimsy.

"FLOCK IN A BOX"

Paper Whimsy swap "Flock In A Box". We had to use paper so I copied the images from Paper Whimsy on hand made paper. I made a little dress form from wire and paper to hang the dress on. Everything is ready to go. She has her wings and crown to complete her fairy princess out fit. I sure hope Julie likes it.

A DOLL FROM KRISTEN BOLTON

So, excited-I received this beautiful doll from Kristen Bolton. She is around 3" and beaded front and back-plus she made this little pouch for her to rest in. I love her. Kristen is an angel-thank you so much.

SERENDIPITY SWAP

This is a swap for "The
Sum Of All My ATCs"

Thanks for hosting Mags.

This was so much fun-I made a collage sheet using left over pieces of paper that I had used in
other projects. I Mod Podge them and stamp all over. Then cut them into ATCs.

I think I am hook on this-so much fun.

GAYLYNN MASTER OF LOVE AND DREAM POTIONS

Gaylynn is a master wizard and she true believer in her love and dream potions.

MISS HAZEL

Miss Hazel is a doll I created for the doll group I belong too-The challenge was to create a animal doll.
Miss. Hazel is a apprentice wizard and she is attaining her information and learning from Gaylynn. Gaylynn has been a wizard for a while and I will be adding her tomorrow. She just has to finish her last lesson with Hazel.

Hazel was a lot of fun to create. Her feet are wire wrap in floral tape and then painted and sealed. Her body is a bird cage with a cat hanging around for good luck. She has a Love potion book and a bottle of potion for dreams. And she has her wand, I mean what is a wizard with out a wand.
To finish her I added some vintage jewels so she could sparkle. I think she will make a fantastic wizard.

On Our Way

On our way to Nina's class Saturday Robin spotted this peacock just walking down the side of the highway and there were no houses near by. We turned a round to get a picture but he already was heading back in the woods. But at least the wonderful colors show up. We never know what we will see on our way some where.

Fat Pages

The colors this month were indigo. So I thought what better then denim my favorite thing to wear. So glad to have finished now they are on their way to our host Marnie. Can't wait to see the other artist fat pages.

A SMALL CLEVERNESS-NINA TARUZZER

This is what I made from Nina Tarnuzzer's Mermaid class. It was at the cutest little shop in Orange Park, Florida called "A Small Cleverness".

I found about Nina's class from one of my groups-"The Sum Of ALL My ATC's" Robin (my Daughter) and I had a lot fun and learned some new techniques using rubber stamps and how fiber can be used. Plus look at the great ATCs we created.

Thanks Nina we had so much fun.
Also, Thanks to Donna for having such a cute shop. (A place-I will be returning to often.)
